Alongside the app, they have also released a significantly updated system for X4 & X3. This update involved a lot of internal restructuring, not just small tweaks.

The new system focuses on clarity and speed:

• The home screen now shows EPUB covers and reading progress
• The overall layout is more intuitive and displays more useful information
• New file transfer options are built into the system for both phones and computers
• We added a QR code transfer shortcut directly to the home screen so you can send books faster

The goal here was simple: fewer steps, less friction, and a smoother daily reading experience.

Important note after updating
After installing the latest system update, please rebuild your book index:

• Open any book.
• Press the OK / Confirm button to open the menu.
• Choose “Index” to reload the book’s content.

This helps ensure everything displays correctly under the new system.
